At Uplift Health, we are well versed in the Qi meridians, specifically experienced in the use of Japanese Structural Acupuncture. Japanese Structural Acupuncture uses a finer diameter needle, focusing on a lighter needling approach to acupuncture.
Mindfulness is a conscious meditative practice involving awareness of one’s body, mind and spirit. Quiet mindfulness practices may involve sitting and breathing; active mindfulness may be done while walking, talking, or even laughing.
Guided meditation and Hypnosis are treatments that utilizes the mind and body and your imagination to create a safe, peaceful and healing space. Although Hypnosis is a deeper dive into the subconscious, both practices create a sense of peace, to find closure with a stressor or review an unanswered medical or mental health concern.

Uplift Health teaches or enhances our patients’ understanding behind the science and medicinal value of food, so that they may reach their health goals. Our patients have found that increasing or eliminating the intake of certain foods can have profound affects on reducing inflammatory issues or improving arthritic conditions, anxiety or depression.
Functional medicine is a holistic approach to health assessment that analyzes the biological underpinnings, functional or organic, to find the root cause. Specifically, functional medicine focuses on gut health, hormonal/endocrine/immune balance, energy and metabolism, and or exposure to environmental toxins. Testing may include bacterial microbiota testing, breath testing, genetic testing, micronutrient evaluations, hormonal testing, and or environmental toxins evaluations.
Heart Math is a program developed by the Heart Math Institute. It incorporates the use of the breath, imagination, and self awareness to develop resiliency and reduce stress. Patients are taught different techniques involving deep breathing, focusing on positive emotions, and physical relaxation with an aim to develop coherence in one’s own heart rhythms. It may be beneficial for patients who are currently being treated for mental health issues.
